Pro Bodystockings

These professional bodystockings are the same as those used by top dancers in Egypt. The ultra strong, fishnet fabric is ladderproof and extremely stretchy and fits most body types. They are specially designed with the dancers' needs in mind. Made from durable spandex, these bodystockings will last for several years if properly cared for.

Colours available are Black, Flesh, Suntan and White.

The bodystocking is held up with velcro which is attached to the breastband of the body and inside of your bra. (This velcro must be handsewn on by the purchaser to her own bra).

We also offer the option of an unattached sequinned and beaded anklet for the full leg style bodystocking to complement your costume. This option is highly recommended as it helps prevent the bodystocking riding up the leg. However, the edges can be successfully covered by the removable anklets that usually come with cabaret costumes as standard.

All bodystockings are seamless.

Disclaimer: Despite being very strong, the fishnet spandex fabric is not indestructible and can be damaged by careless or heavyhanded application. Do not wear sharp jewellery, rings, bracelets etc, when attempting to pull the bodystocking on. Long nail extensions can also tear the fabric. As all bodystockings are checked before despatch for faults, we will not be responsible for any damage incurred after the garment is posted out by us. Extra care must be taken with diamante bodystockings, as again, careless heavyhanded application will rip the fishnet.

Please note these bodystockings are currently one size and will fit up to UK size 14/16 only. The looped back style is no longer available. Maximum hip size is 38 to 40 inches.

The Pro Bodystocking is non returnable due to the intimate nature of the garment. If this bodystocking is worn to dance in, we will NOT replace it or refund monies. We do not offer refunds for items kept for longer than 60 days.

The Bodystocking

Bodystockings have long been a tradition for dancers in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt where exposing the abdomen is technically illegal in public.

Lots of dancers choose to wear a bodystocking for a variety of reasons. They may have scarring or stretchmarks, loose skin after childbirth or weight loss. They may simply feel less 'exposed' and more modest with a fishnet covering on abdomen and legs.

The easy pull on design of the Pro Bodystocking enables quick change for different costumes. There's no fiddly dressing as when the bodystocking is attached to the bra or belt of a costume.

The strong spandex fabric of these bodystockings grips like a second skin, and weight conscious dancers will notice the difference when wearing one. We offer a 'looped' back design which enables dancers with fuller figures to pull on the bodystocking more easily.

Bodystockings are great for adding embellishments to, such as navel jewellery without piercings and diamante stones for added glamour and glitter.
