Tunisian Dance

The technique of Tunisian dance is very different from Egyptian dance in that the movements are larger, often performed on the balls of the feet and twisting motions of the hips and waist are predominant. The twisting techniques require straight legs, with the movement driven via the waist. These twisting movements are very tiring, and require much practice and drilling. Stamina is needed for this dance style.
